Heya everyone, I'm finally in Boston and finally settled down after 5 or so days. So far, all I can say is wow. So much to say, so much that has been done and yet still so much left to do.

The flight to Boston was..well..kinda a mixed bag. The 2 hour flight from Singapore to Bangkok on transit wasn't bad. Heck, even the 16 hour flight from Bangkok to New York JFK airport wasn't that bad. However there was a ridiculous 2-3 hour delay on the domestic flight from JFK to Boston, which frankly was a huge drag and very retarded. This is a LOCAL flight for gods' sake!

Anyway the moment me & mum landed (dad took a seperate flight), it was a mad rush to the Uni to get the immigration clearance done. Aside from that mad escapade, Northeastern university so far has been pretty awesome.

It's just so refreshing being in a society where people aren't afraid to speak their minds, aren't afraid to just strike a random, friendly conversation with anyone along the street, and who aren't afraid to be themselves. Too often in Singapore, we're always being oppressed by our socialist-like government, not daring to speak up for fear of being squished like a bug. Sure, it's not as bad as say, China, but we still have a long way to go. Not that I'm saying America is perfect, but now I do see what it definitely has that we certaintly lack. Balls.

So right now I'm finally living in my dorm room. Most things have been settled, though I've yet to receive my filing cabinet and my land line yet. Still, my parents have helped settle many things for me and for that, I am most grateful. Best. Parents. Ever. Okay they do fuss alot and stuff but still, just their way to show they care, yep yep. So with a well equipped campus, (so far) nice people and an interesting course, I should be okay for now.
